Amal Unbound by Aisha Saeed (book): This book is about a 12 year old girl named Amal, who wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She works hard, but fate falls into motion. As the eldest sister, she has to stay home from school and take care of her 3 siblings. But she soon tires of this, and goes to the market one morning. But even that can go wrong. She causes a scene and ends up as servant in the mansion of a Khan. Struggling and unhappy, Amal tries her best to fit in with the other servants, as she realizes that the only way to beat the status quo is to stand together and stay strong for freedom. Will she ever be like the others, and will she ever escape the Khan's estate?
Harry Potter by Warner Bros. Pictures and David Heyman (movie): This is a very popular movie, and you've probably heard or seen it before, but this is just a recap. Harry Potter was a poorly treated boy by his foster family, when one day, he is accepted into the magical school, Hogwarts. For some reason, everyone there knows his name. Then he finds out he was, "The Boy Who Lived", and he was meant to face someone horrible. Will Harry Potter overcome the challenges thrown his way, and will he survive?
The Mystwick School of Musicraft by Jessica Khoury (book): This musical book stars Amelia Jones, who's always dreamed of being a musician and attending the Mystwick School of Musicraft. So when her dreams come true, she is overjoyed. But when she flunks her audition, she stays determined to get in that school, even though she has to be someone she's not. But life at Mystwick is hard, and she struggles with friendships and studies. But now, there's a great danger lurking over the school, and it's up to Amelia to stop it. Can Amelia prove her place in the Mystwick School of Magic, and can she save it?
